 Melanie McFaddin - President

Ms. McFaddin possesses over 27 years of aggregate business experience.  She has been active in various disciplines within the Professional Services sector for over 20 years and has 15 years of targeted experience in M&A.  She is well-known and respected for her industry expertise and skill in marketing, negotiating, and closing transactions. She possesses a tenured, strong, and varied group of industry contacts and in her 15 years in human capital M&A has presided over more than 50 transactions across a breadth of professional services, including IT staffing and solutions, MSP in information technology, RPO, management consulting, and HR and IT software toolsets.

Her other industry experience includes treasury management for Landmark Graphics Corporation, a $200 million multinational, NASDAQ-listed, Information Technology product and services company that is now a part of Hallibuton.  In this capacity Ms. McFaddin was responsible for development of a treasury department and for corporate planning and analysis, international business planning, currency and risk management, foreign and domestic trade finance, and cash and investment management. 

 

Prior to her experience at Landmark, she spearheaded the establishment of an Information Technology lending practice for The Toronto Dominion Bank and was instrumental in the formation of the worldwide Project Finance group for Societe Generale, where she was involved in projects in independent power development, chemical plant construction, and other specialized structured financings. 

 

She has spoken at many of the industry’s leading conferences, including The National Association of Computer Consultant Businesses (now TechServe Alliance), The IT Services Business Summit, The National Technical Services Association (NTSA), The New England Association of Personnel Services (NEAPS), The Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) and Fulcrum, on topics such as building value through raising private equity, building value and valuation in the IT services sector, and the dynamics of M&A in the professional services sector. 

 

She has also been quoted in such publications as The Atlanta Business Journal, The Houston Business Journal, The Wall Street Reporter, The Daily Deal, ComputerWire, Corporate Financing Week, Consulting Wire, and Bloomberg News.

 

She holds both a BBA and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
